The Michigan Museums Association is pleased to recognize excellence in the Michigan museum community. Leadership, community engagement, advocacy, and service to the Michigan museum community are acknowleged annually at an awards ceremony held in the spring.
Three award recipients are selected by the MMA Board of Directors after a public nomination process. One award is presented to an individual for leadership. A second award is presented to a museum for a community engagement project, program, or process. The final award is presented to an individual for advocacy.
