Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer for the Michigan Museums Association (MMA). MMA shares expertise and resources to promote standards and practices that make the Michigan museum community thrive. Our volunteers make that possible! All volunteers are expected to be MMA members.
OverviewThe Oral History Team will help develop a process to collect memories and stories of MMA as part of our #50YearsTogether celebration. Team members will assist with the administration of the program and may also collect oral histories themselves. The Team will meet bi-weekly in at least January and February, moving to monthly meetings one the process is underway. We will use Zoom for meetings and Basecamp to coordinate communication and information sharing. Help learning both will be provided if needed.
